In Evolving Grids, space is your most valuable resource. Never focus solely on clearing a single line; instead, try to build structures that allow you to clear multiple lines simultaneously, which often rewards bonus points and frees up large chunks of the board at once. Avoid creating isolated single-block holes, as these are incredibly difficult to fill later on. When you receive your three shapes, always try to place the largest, most awkward shape first. It is much easier to fit a small 1x1 or 2x2 square into remaining gaps than it is to place a massive 3x3 block or a long 5x1 line. Keep the center of your board relatively flat and avoid building tall, uneven 'towers'.
